About the Tower

A pixel building made of bids, that keeps every floor.

Most attention markets are lists. A list tells you the order, and the order is all that survives: whoever was outbid is gone, and what they paid bought them nothing that lasts.

The Tower keeps everything. A floor costs one euro and, once bought, is there for as long as the site is. Every floor a site buys joins its one section, and the building is the record of everyone who ever paid to be on it, with the total on the wall. Scroll down and you walk through all of it.

What changes is the order. Sections stack by total paid, so the top bid is king and any rank can be taken by paying one euro more than whoever holds it, as the difference from what you already paid. Being outbid moves you down; it never removes you. The board counts how long each site has held the top in total. That is the whole game: the prize is time at the top, the cost is floors, and the floors stay after the time is up.

There is no algorithm, no quality score and nothing editorial. Rank is the bid and nothing else, and the next floor is always for sale.
